Samsung announced a new lineup of AI-powered televisions at CES 2025, the first of which will serve as the company’s home companion integrated with intelligent capabilities. Designed to mercilessly blend with smart home devices, these upcoming TV models will sport additional attributes beyond simple movie watching, such as real-time home monitoring, customized content interaction, and the need for enhanced user engagement.

Integration with Smart Home Devices

Samsung’s latest TV models are all geared up to connect to other smart home devices and offer real-time updates as well as safety alerts. For example, if you have a Samsung robot vacuum cleaner and have the TV integrated with the Samsung robot vacuum cleaner, the TV will be able to display images or reports of pet activities so homeowners will know what their pets are doing when they are away. This is a perfect example of how TV serves as the brain of a home monitoring and managing system.

AI-Enhanced Viewing Experience

These new lineups of AI functions are designed to enhance the entertainment experience –

  • Click to Search: It provides users with the ability to instantly access information regarding on-screen content. The AI functions by supplying instant answers – from discovered characters to recipe information from a cooking show.
  • Live to Translate: Intended for fans of international cinema, this tool offers the ability to view content without subtitles – translating in real-time – to break language barriers to broader content.

Samsung Vision AI

At the heart of these innovations is ‘Samsung Vision AI’, a proprietary technology that adaptively modifies picture and sound quality according to the content being displayed. This guarantees that a program runs with an optimal set, which is programmed for a particular program, thus elevating user satisfaction.

Collaboration with Microsoft

Samsung has collaborated with Microsoft to apply Copilot AI technology to its TVs. The intention of this partnership is to extend the technology for the generation to interact, as an intelligent tool with the help provided and features that are accommodating to the needs of their users.

The Frame Pro

In addition, Samsung expanded its lifestyle TV lineup with The Frame Pro. This model features brighter colours, crisper contrast and better local dimming for better blacks. The Frame Pro displays art when not in use, and has been designed with cutting-edge technology, making it easy to use almost anywhere.

Samsung is committed to integration with AI.

Samsung’s broader plan to roll AI functionality across the rest of its product range is also reflected in these innovations. Samsung sees its TVs as interactive, intelligent partners that can adapt to users’ needs, moving passive consumption into an engaging, tailored experience, building on AI features introduced in the firm’s new Galaxy S25 smartphone and the most recent refrigerator and freezer models.

The latest from Samsung marks a new era in home entertainment, in which the television is both the home’s centre for entertainment and home management. With a convergence of AI and smart home connectivity, Samsung today reimagines the role of TVs in line with future demands of consumers for smart home devices that are intelligent, responsive, and multifunctional.
